About jim Roeth

In Second Life, I own Dogland Dog Park. I sell, train and service D&D, VKC and all other virtual dogs. I also teach folks how to use these dogs.
A long while back a young Dutch woman came to see me, to have her dogs trained. Lisa Merrienboer, is a bright curious woman, who became friends with me quickly. One day she told me that she was going to marry, and asked if I would be "Father to the Bride". I proudly accepted this post, and I met jim Roeth.
jim (name uncapitalized by design) came to classes with Lisa. I liked him. In the begining of 2009, I began finding jim on the beach at Dogland, working with his dogs, but I mean really working. I would watch from the distance, proud of him, as he tested out what we learned in class.
I made many house visits to Lisa and jim's lovely estate, to help them set up their place as a perfect haven for them and dogs. This couple became family to me in my SL, and they called me Dad. Lisa still does call me this, and she is loved.
A short while back jim became ill, and as he became worse in health, Lisa confided to me his condition was not good.
jim Roeth passed on the morning of July 2nd at 2:00 a.m.
Although jim and Lisa are Dutch, I found that today is in USA "Independence Day", and jim has gained freedom from the discomfort he was in.
Lisa, I am here for you as are many others.
jim Roeth, I am proud to have been your friend and I will miss you very much.
